Shortly after being blasted for criticizing the 'Nope' actress' choice of clothes, Darius Jackson declares that his comment was based on his 'standards' and 'morals.'

AceShowbiz - Darius Jackson has justified his criticism at Keke Palmer's "booty cheeks" outfit. After being slammed by many social media users for shaming the way his baby mama dresses up, the boyfriend of the "Nope" actress did not hesitate to clarify that his comment was based on his standards and morals.

The 29-year-old athlete, who has one son with Keke, defended himself through a statement he shared on Twitter. On Wednesday, July 5, he tweeted, "We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn't want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others."

Darius went on to write, "[And] he gets told how much of a hater he is." On the reason why he commented on Keke's outfit, he stated, "This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe." He finally concluded, "I rest my case."

Earlier that same day, Darius made public his criticism at Keke's choice of clothes for Usher's residency show in Las Vegas. He wrote, "It's the outfit tho.. you a mom." At that time, he was replying to a tweet which contained a video documenting Keke's interaction with Usher on stage during the concert.

Darius Jackson defended himself after he made a public comment on Keke Palmer's outfit.

In the video, the 29-year-old actress could be seen wearing a black see-through high neck dress that came with black dots and long sleeves. She covered her assets with a strapless black thong bodysuit with a plunging neckline. She was also documented wrapping her arms around Usher's shoulders when he placed his hand on her lower back.

Darius' critique did not take long to get responses. In the replies section, one Twitter user complained, "1.4 million views and 400 likes. Yikes. Unless there is a ring on that woman's finger, you don't have a place, man. And even if yall was married, not a solid look publicly shaming the mother of your child for her outfit choice."

"Possession doesn't usually go well in relationships, and you're with an extremely famous person. Better grow thicker skin," the user continued. Another joined in to defend Keke by writing, "How keke has always been this way. Why should she stop being herself bc shes a mother? If he wanted traditional he should've put a ring on it first before making her a baby mama."
