AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz apparently was left "annoyed" by a man at YNW Melly's double murder trial. Showing support for the "Murder on My Mind" rapper in court, the "Wipe Me Down" rapper was revealed by a journalist getting irritated by the man who was "sleeping during testimony."
On Monday, June 12, Boosie, who was formerly known as Lil Boosie, showed his solidarity for Melly by attending his pal's first day of trial. However, Law & Crime journalist Bryson Paul reported that the 40-year-old was not pleased upon seeing a snoozing man sitting next to him.
Bryson tweeted on Monday, June 12, "#YNWMellyTrial: @BOOSIEOFFICIAL, supporting @YNWMelly, is annoyed by the man sitting next to him sleeping during testimony." The journalist added, "Boosie was on trial and found not guilty of murder in 2012. He offered defense information to Melly in 2019. #ynwmelly #lawandcrime @lawcrimenews."
Boosie was said to be in the courtroom until it was time for lunch break. He did not come back to the room after the break. Bryson reported in a follow-up tweet, "#YNWMellyTrial: @BOOSIEOFFICIAL did not return to the courtroom following the lunch break. #ynwmelly #lawandcrime @lawcrimenetwork."
That same day, Boosie himself let out a video from the trial on his own Instagram account. In the clip, he could be seen recording himself while seemingly walking to the courtroom. Along with the footage, he simply wrote, "@ynwmelly TRIAL‼️‼️ Opening Day."
For his trial appearance, the "Out Here Grindin" rapper looked sharp in a formal ensemble. He sported a black v-neck shirt and paired it with a long sleeve bright orange blazer. He completed his look with a pair of black sunglasses, earrings, a sparkling wristwatch, several rings and necklaces.
On Melly's murder trial, Boosie previously shared his thoughts to XXL magazine, "I'm going to his trial to support him. I talked to his mom the other night. I'm going to support Melly." In the June interview, he added, "I was on a plane with Melly one day in the airport with him. We was in the airport, and he took his credit card out."
"He ain't let me buy nothing, bro. He bought all my food, my magazines. All through the airport he like, 'OG, you aint spending no money.' So, I'm going to support that little n***a, dawg," the Louisiana native further explained.
