AceShowbiz - Asian Doll a.k.a. Asian Da Brat is grateful that Lil Durk has spoken up in her defense following years-long allegations that she caused King Von's death. The Dallas native has thanked The Voice after the latter cleared her name in the 2020 untimely passing of her ex-boyfriend.
"Appreciate you Durk for clearing my name," Asian quote-tweeted a video of an interview where Durk made the statement. "I been waiting on this for a lil min & it mean a lot coming from you ion really care about wat nobody think but this was much needed [100 emoji] thank you a lot."
Following Asian's tweet, many also defended her. One fan wrote in the reply, "Let me break it down for you slow people. He basically letting y'all know you been attacking this girl for so long for no reason SHE IS NOT THE REASON VON WAS HARMED or THE REASON STUFF POPPED OFF. Y'all as his fans or whatever truly owe this girl a apology how y'all did her."
The 26-year-old raptress also retweeted another fan who commented, "You deserved it! No matter how long it took you finally got your name cleared up that's ALL that matters [100 emoji] the real knew what it was!"
In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, Durk stated that Asian "had nothing to do with it" when speaking of the late Chicago rapper's death. He acknowledged that the incident "changed everybody's lives irreparably."
"Yeah, that s**t f**ked everybody up, boy, when a real gangsta get took out by a nerd type," he added in reference to Lul Timm, who is accused of shooting Von. When Akademiks brought up Von's nemesis and Tim's affiliate Quando Rondo, Durk referred to the rapper as a "little boy." He explained that, at one point, Quando used to be yelling "f**k 63rd" because of Von.
