AceShowbiz - Millie Bobby Brown has gotten engaged to Jake Bongiovi, and her "Stranger Things" family could not help but rejoice over the happy news. On Tuesday, April 11, the Eleven depicter on the hit Netflix series shared with the world that her model boyfriend has popped the question, and was quickly flooded with best wishes from her co-stars.
Noah Schnapp and Jamie Campbell Bower were among those congratulating Millie. In the comment section of Millie's Instagram announcement, Noah exclaimed, "OH MY GOD CONGRATS." Jamie, in the meantime, did not write any comment, but sent a slew of red heart emojis.
Also ecstatic over Millie's engagement news was Cara Buono. The actress who portrayed Karen Wheeler on the series excitedly wrote, "Beautiful! So happy for you!" Another co-star, Cary Elwes, gushed, "True Love [red heart emoji]. We are so thrilled for you," whereas Randy Havens penned, "This is so awesome!"
Millie's "Stranger Things" family were not the only ones congratulating the 19-year-old. Her "Enola Holmes" co-star Sam Claflin also chimed in by writing, "Congrats little sis." Although she received plenty of heartwarming comments from fellow stars, Millie was met with disapproval from her surprised fans. Complaining that the actress was too young to get engaged, one questioned, "Girl what's the rush?" Another pointed out, "You're too young to make this decision!"
Similarly, a third follower argued, "3 summers ago she was 17 and underage." A fourth follower additionally complained, "I'm the same age as Millie, someone please explain to me what the hell I'm doing with my life."
Millie made her romantic relationship with Jake Instagram official in November 2021 after months of swirling rumors about them dating.
