CBS announces that the 'How You Like That' hitmaker will appear in one of the late-night talk show's final 12 episodes before it eventually concludes its run on April 27.

AceShowbiz - BLACKPINK is set to join James Corden on "Carpool Karaoke". The popular South Korean girl group will be one of the final three acts to appear on the popular segment of "The Late Late Show With James Corden" before the talk show concludes its run on April 27.

CBS announced on Friday, April 7 that the "How You Like That" hitmaker will appear in one of the late-night show's final 12 episodes. Meanwhile, the other two musical guests rounding out the trio of "Carpool Karaoke" farewells have not yet been announced, though other confirmed segments include a "Take a Break" segment featuring the Kardashian family and a "Crosswalk the Musical" performance.

This won't be the first time for BLACKPINK to appear on "The Late Late Show With James Corden". The "Pink Venom" singer previously guested on the talk show over the course of its eight years on CBS. Back in 2019, the group, which consists of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose, performed their single "Kill This Love" in addition to participating in a game of "Flinch" on the late-night talk show.

Among stars who have been booked to make appearances in the remaining episodes of "The Late Late Show" are Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Tom Cruise, Josh Gad, Jennifer Garner, Brett Goldstein, Kate Hudson, Mila Kunis, Seth Meyers, Billy Porter and Sharon Stone. Allison Janney is also set to celebrate having the most guest appearances on the show.

James announced his decision to leave the late-night talk show, which he has hosted for seven and a half years, back in April 2022. The British star admitted during his monologue that while the show has "changed" his life, it was never intended to be his "final destination."

"This will be my last year hosting the show," he explained at the time. "When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that. It was going to be a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my final destination, you know? And I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way. I always want to love making it. And I really think in a year from now that will be a good time to move on and see what else might be out there."

Noting that it was the "hardest decision" he's ever had to make, he added, "We still have a year to go and we are all determined to make this the best year we have ever had making this show. We are going to go out with a bang. There is going to be 'Carpools', and 'Crosswalks' and sketches and other surprises."
