AceShowbiz - Model Jeff Thomas has died in a suspected suicide. The social media influencer, who had more than 120k followers on Instagram, passed away on Wednesday, March 8 after cops received a call that he had taken his own life.

A Miami Police Department spokesperson confirms that officers found Thomas' body on the afternoon of March 8 at an apartment building in Miami. He died of an apparent suicide as witnesses claimed to have watched him jump from the balcony, but cops are still investigating.

An autopsy has been completed but the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner said that a cause of death has not yet been determined.

On the same day of his passing, Thomas shared a photo of himself doing a cold plunge for his mental health. "A cold plunge a day, keeps the doctor away #coldplunge #wellness #mentalhealth," so he captioned the snap that showed him lying shirtless in the pool.

One day before his death, he also eerily posted pictures of him posing on the balcony during a photo shoot in Madrid, Spain. "From the ashes...," he wrote in the caption, adding a bird emoji.

Thomas did commercial shoots, art magazine shoots and runways. He had rubbed shoulders with celebrities like Megan Fox and Nicole Scherzinger. He was also the founder and director of One Popsicle, an art consulting agency.

Thomas' last post was flooded with messages of condolences from his friends and followers. Someone who claimed to be his former agent wrote, "It was a pleasure to have been your agent. You did everything you needed to do to succeed in the biz. Frustrating at times but I knew your goals and your passion to get there. More important was the friendship we developed afterwards. Your heart was always in the right place. RIP #DIT."

An acquaintance left a comment which read, "I met you many years ago in NY. You never failed to bring an up beat energy every time I saw you. We never know what people are really going through. I will use this as a reminder to ask people how they are more even when they seem happy on the outside. RIP Jeff."

"Your infectious smile always brought so much joy to my life. Rest in peace sweet boy," another remembered the model. A friend added, "Hey Jeff I love you till the end of time My brotha from another's motha. Rest easy my Dear friend. I'm at a loss of words."
