The 27-year-old 'Chrisley Knows Best' star is reportedly arrested and booked at the state's Rutherford County Adult Detention Center for 'felony aggravated assault.'

AceShowbiz - Todd Chrisley's son Kyle Chrisley has a run-in with the law. According to a new report, the "Chrisley Knows Best" star was arrested and booked at the state's Rutherford County Adult Detention Center for "felony aggravated assault" on Tuesday, March 14.
TMZ claimed that Kyle, whose mom is Todd's first wife Teresa Terry, was said to have been busted by the Smyrna, Tennessee Police Department. The 27-year-old reality TV star looked visibly unpleasant in the mug shot, though he was released on $3,000 bond.
While there is no further detail regarding what landed him in jail, Kyle has long struggled with mental health and substance abuse issues. Back in 2019, he was hospitalized after attempting suicide.
Kyle later opened up about his struggles during an appearance on his dad's "Chrisley Confessions" podcast. "I take medication and I had a bad side effect to it, and I tried to take my own life," he said at the time, explaining that his 10-year-old daughter, Chloe, whom he shares with ex-wife Angela Johnson, was living with his dad and stepmom at the time due to his "addiction and my mental illness." He continued, "What she says now is she has two dads."
Meanwhile, Kyle's arrest arrived two months after his dad reported to the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Fla. for a 12-year sentence, while his stepmom Julie Chrisley is serving 7-year sentence at FMC Lexington, Kentucky. The couple was sentenced in November 2022 after being found guilty for tax evasion, bank fraud, wire fraud and multiple counts of conspiracy.
Before they began their respective sentences in January, Kyle took to social media to share the Bible verse Matthew 7:3-5, which diverts people from judging others for their mistakes. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged," the post read. "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Who do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
The Chrisley family's attorney Alex Little of Burr & Forman LLP, meanwhile, said in a statement shortly after Todd and Julie's sentencing, "Todd and Julie are people of faith, and that faith gives them strength as they appeal their convictions." He added, "Their trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to jurors about what taxes the couple paid. Based on these issues, we are optimistic about the road ahead."
