In the arrest warrant, it is revealed that the son of 'Chrisley Knows Best' star Todd Chrisley was about to stab his boss with a knife before he got arrested on Tuesday, March 14.

AceShowbiz - Kyle Chrisley's recent arrest reportedly stemmed from an incident involving his boss. In the arrest warrant obtained by TMZ, it was revealed that the son of Todd Chrisley was about to stab his boss with a knife before he got arrested.

In the arrest warrant, a Smyrna PD officer detailed the call for service he got ahead of his aggravated assault arrest on Tuesday, March 14. The cop revealed that Deven Campbell claimed Chrisley made a death threat while allegedly beating him down. The officer said that the boss was left battered and bruised.

The boss further shared that Kyle attacked him on Monday by striking him multiple times in the face and upper body. It was also said Kyle displayed a fixed-blade knife during the altercation in addition to threatening to stab and kill him. The authorities noted that Deven had bruises and lacerations on his head, neck and hand. The report, however, didn't mention the motive or what prompted the fight.

Kyle was arrested and booked at the state's Rutherford County Adult Detention Center for "felony aggravated assault" on Tuesday. The 27-year-old reality TV star looked visibly unpleasant in the mug shot, though he was released on $3,000 bond the next day. The "Chrisley Knows Best" star has yet to publicly address the arrest.

Kyle, whose mom is Todd's first wife Teresa Terry, has long struggled with mental health and substance abuse issues. Back in 2019, he was hospitalized after attempting suicide.

"I take medication and I had a bad side effect to it, and I tried to take my own life," he explained during an appearance on his dad's "Chrisley Confessions" podcast at the time, explaining that his 10-year-old daughter, Chloe, whom he shares with ex-wife Angela Johnson, was living with his dad and stepmom at the time due to his "addiction and my mental illness." He continued, "What she says now is she has two dads."
