The Nobel Peace Prize winner's comment arrives just days after the 'Star Trek' actor confirmed that his 'Don't Worry Darling' co-star 'did not spit' on him.

AceShowbiz - Malala Yousafzai was among the celebrities and notable figures spotted at the 2023 Oscars. When making an appearance at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony, the Nobel Peace Prize winner was asked about Harry Styles and Chris Pine's spit-gate.

On Sunday night, March 12, the Pakistani human-rights activist was jokingly asked by host Jimmy Kimmel from her seat in the audience at the Dolby Theatre about the supposed saliva-fueled beef between "Don't Worry Darling" co-stars.

"Your work on human rights and education for women and children is an inspiration. As the youngest Nobel Prize winner in history, I was wondering, do you think Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?" deadpanned Jimmy read a supposed question from a fan. In response, the 25-year-old activist said, "I only talk about peace," as her fellow audience members laughed.

Malala's comment came only a few days after Chris himself confirmed that Harry didn't spit on him at the "Don't Worry Darling" premiere in Venice. In an interview with Esquire, the 42-year-old actor declared, "Harry did not spit on me." He went on to gush over his co-star as saying, "Harry is a very kind guy."

However, Chris admitted that "it did look, indeed, like" the former One Direction singer shot saliva in his direction in viral videos. "I think Harry leaned down and said, 'It's just words, isn't it?' " the "Wonder Woman" actor recalled, alleging that the singer leaned down to tell him "a little joke."

"We were all jet lagged and trying to answer questions," Chris added. "And sometimes when you're doing these press things, your brain goes befuddled and you start speaking gibberish, so we had a joke, 'It's just words.' "

Chris' rep initially issued a denial last year, with the rep calling the rampant rumors "ridiculous." The statement read, "This is a … complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation. There is nothing but respect between these two men, and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist."

As for Harry, the musician poked fun at the spit-gate drama while performing in New York City. "It is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back here," the "As It Was" hitmaker said during one of his concerts at Madison Square Garden. "I just popped over to Venice to spit on Chris Pine, but fear not, we're back!"
