The 'Find You' hitmaker playfully trolls his wife's ex-boyfriend by sharing some funny pictures on Instagram Story, including a photo of him and Joel's wife, Nicole Richie.

AceShowbiz - Matthew Koma is bringing the fun when celebrating the birthday of Joel Madden, who used to date his wife Hilary Duff. As the latter turned 44, the "Find You" hitmaker gave a shout-out to his spouse's ex in a hilarious tribute.
On Saturday, March 11, Matthew shared on Instagram Story a photo of themselves walking Joel and Nicole Richie's two German Shepherds, Roki and Xavi. "Grateful for you and our friendship," he penned alongside the snap.
Matthew also shared a throwback picture of Joel and Hilary which was taken at a Zac Posen fashion show in New York City in September 2006. "It's not even that weird that you dated my wife @joelmadden... It just makes me feel closer to you," he quipped.
Not stopping there, the singer unleashed an image of a drawing that read, "MATT + JOEL 4 EVA" as well as a picture depicting himself wearing a hairnet and playing a pink guitar while sitting next to Nicole. He captioned the latter, "Also now feels like a good time to tell you about me and your wife @nicolerichie."
Matthew and Hilary are not only close friends with Joel and Nicole, but they are also neighbors. In January, the "Lizzie McGuire" star revealed that they "actually hang out all the time."
During an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live", Hilary shared, "I have a good relationship with their whole family. We actually hang out all the time. I was just in [Nicole's] driveway, honking for her to come drink wine with us the other day." The actress added, "She wouldn't, she was asleep by eight. But now we get them to hike together all the time. And you know what? It's lovely."
