AceShowbiz - Ray J is giving his marriage and Princess Love another shot. More than a month after confirming their reconciliation, the "One Wish" crooner decided to withdraw his divorce petition.

According to PEOPLE, the 42-year-old filed court documents on Wednesday, March 1 in Los Angeles asking a court to dismiss their divorce case. The decision reportedly was made "without prejudice," meaning they can still change their mind about the proceedings.

Ray J confirmed he and his spouse got back together when celebrating his 42nd birthday. On January 17, Ray shared on Instagram a video of him walking around a Las Vegas hotel while singing "Happy Birthday" to himself. "THANKS FOR THE BDAY LOVE! - IM TAKING IT EASY TODAY!" he began his caption.

"FAMILY AND A FEW FRIENDS GONNA PULL UP! - I BEEN AT THIS HOTEL FOR 2 MONTHS IN LAS VEGAS ON SUPER GRIND MODE!!" he added. "NEW NETWORK DEAL #DOSH - NEW MUSIC PROJECTS ON THE WAY! - HAD TO GET MY WIFE BACK AND START FRESH. I LOVE MY FAMILY!! Ill FIGHT OVER AND OVER FOR LIFE FOR MY FAMILY AND KIDS!!"

Ray went on to note, "Ill PUT IT ALL ON THE LINE FOR MY CHILDREN TO BE HAPPY AND SAFE AND CLOSE TO ME 24/7!!! GOD IS ALWAYS WORKING!! - STAY TUNED!!" He further gushed, "THIS NEW WAVE IM ON IS LIT IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS!! - #HAPPYBDAYRAYj - NEW START - NEW GOALS!! - NEW YEAR."

Ray and Princess, who share daughter Melody Love and son Epik Ray together, have been married since 2016. In October 2021, the singer filed for divorce from his wife. It marked the third time divorce papers have been filed throughout their marriage.

Princess first filed for divorce in May 2020, months after she and the "t=Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood]" star got into a massive fight in Las Vegas. However, it was reported months later that they were working to save their marriage.
