The Trinidadian raptress makes use of her social media platform to tease her new single titled 'Red Ruby Da Sleeze' and reveal its release date and official artwork.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj is ready to release new music. The Trinidadian raptress left her fans excited after she turned to her social media platform to preview her brand new single that samples a 2000s hit track.

On Thursday, February 23, the 40-year-old previewed her new track "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" via Instagram. Fans immediately recognized the sample from Lumidee's 2003 summer anthem, "Never Leave You (Uh-Oh)".

According to a follow-up post with the official artwork, the song will arrive on March 3 on the season premiere of Nicki's Queen Radio. "Official artwork #RedRubyDaSleeze," Nicki captioned the post. "Coming on 3/3 #QueenRadio 3/3 @ 3pm pst S/o to @skeng.don for making that lil vid happen that we shot last night in TRINI!!!! #RattyGang & Beetham RastaCity 7family grung yktv. Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier pon mi dress St. Laurent on the heel."

The new single follows Nicki's recent guest appearance on Trinidadian stars Machel Montano and Destra's "Shake the Place (Remix)". While there's no confirmation, all signs seem to point to the New York native officially gearing up for the follow-up to her 2018 album, "Queen".

Queen Radio initially launched on Beats 1 Radio the same year in an effort to promote the album. In a 2021 interview, Nicki revealed she'd left the network but would be bringing the show elsewhere.

As for an album, Nicki previously said one would arrive before the end of 2022, and that she expedited the process because of "Super Freaky Girl's" success. However, an album has yet to arrive. "I wasn't sure how I was even feeling about having to put out an album this year, but that song happening and people liking it, that made me happy," Nicki told Interview Magazine at the time. "People have gone through so much recently that they want to have fun. It'll probably expedite the album to come out this year."
