AceShowbiz - Lala Kent has weighed in on the recent trend of using Ozempic for weight loss. When speaking about the matter in an interview with PEOPLE, the "Vanderpump Rules" star urged celebrities to stop using the medication for type 2 diabetes to lose weight.

"Stop taking it for weight loss. Enough already," the 32-year-old told the outlet. "I think that Hollywood is all sorts of f**ked up. We've got to do better."

"I think there's a lot of things that need to change and it starts with us and there are times where I roll my eyes and say, 'F**king do better, all of us,' " she added. "We all need to participate in becoming better examples for our children in the outside world."

Lala's statement arrived after Chelsea Handler admitted that her doctor prescribes the controversial medication to "anybody." She hadn't even realized it was what she was using to shed pounds until a friend pointed it out to her.

"My anti-aging doctor just hands it out to anybody. I didn't even know I was on it," the comedienne shared. "Obviously, now, I can't say her name but she said, 'If you ever want to drop five pounds, this is good.' "

"I came back from a vacation and I injected myself with it. I went to lunch with a girlfriend a few days later, and she was like, 'I'm not really eating anything. I'm so nauseous, I'm on Ozempic,' " she recalled. "And I was like, 'I'm kind of nauseous too but I'm not on Ozempic' and she's like 'Are you sure?' and I'm like 'Well, what is it? I'm on Semaglutide' and she goes 'That's Ozempic!' "
