AceShowbiz - Tom Brady finally puts sports aside to focus on his family. The retired NFL star shared in a new interview that he's "excited" to explore "other parts of life" after he announced his NFL retirement.

In the Monday, February 6 episode of his "Let's Go!" podcast on SiriusXM, the seven-time Super Bowl champion shared, "I look forward to exploring a lot of other parts of life that have been put aside for a time being." He added, "I'll feel some different things, I'm sure, as things go along, but you know, I'm doing great."

Tom, who recently finalized his divorce from Gisele Bundchen, went on to add that he is "in a great space" and "excited for what's ahead." The 45-year-old former quarterback elaborated, "My friend says the future happens a day at a time, and I think with any great chapter that ends, there's another great opportunity ahead."

Elsewhere during the podcast, Tom also poked fun at himself for retiring twice in one year. "I've done it once before, so I've got to figure it out and get good at this actually," he told the listeners, "It's all pretty new."

Tom, who has son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, with his ex-wife Gisele as well as son John, 15, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, announced last week that he's retiring from the NFL "for good." He previously announced plans last year to quit playing but changed his mind 40 days later and agreed to play another season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It's been reported that Tom is not interested in dating after splitting from Gisele. A source spilled to TMZ that the athlete is aiming to spend as much time with his three children as he can for the "next few months."
