If a new report is to be believed, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, who finalized his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen in October last year, seemingly proves that he does "not want a divorce" by hanging up his jersey.

Page Six reported on Wednesday, February 1 that the 45-year-old star "gave everything he had to his final NFL season, but now he's ready to give everything to his family and his new life" after he announced his retirement. A source told the site, "He never thought that he and Gisele would get divorced. He didn't want a divorce."

A separate source dished, "No, he isn't formally dating anyone right now." The so-called inside source went on to explain the situation, "His friends want to set him up, but he's all about the kids."

Another insider told the publication that Tom has been living in a $70,000-plus a month rental near the still-under-construction home that he bought with Gisele on the "billionaire's bunker" island of Indian Creek, which is just off Surfside.

"Tom hopes his house on Indian Creek will be finished within six to eight months if things go to plan," the informant said, "Until then, he is renting. It offers him the privacy he needs, and all the luxury he is used to. Plus it is great for the kids. Most importantly, the area is a great base for him to be able to co-parent his kids with Gisele, as she is settling down nearby also."

Earlier on Wednesday, Tom announced his retirement with an emotional post, including a video and a bunch of throwback photos, including some with his former wives Gisele and Bridget Moynahan. In the clip, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback noted that he's retiring "for good" this time, referring to his decision to unretire following 40-day retirement in 2022.

"I'm retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I'd just press record, and let you guys know first," Tom declared. "I won't be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year, so really thank you guys so much."

Upon learning of the announcement, Gisele left a comment on the post. The 42-year-old Brazilian beauty replied, "Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life [folded hands emoji]."

In March last year, Tom decided to return to the NFL only 40 days after announcing his retirement. His return allegedly caused an "epic fight" between him and Gisele and the spat led to their divorce.
