AceShowbiz - Some of music's biggest names have arrived at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards and they dressed to the nines in extravagant styles. Doja Cat, Lizzo, Bebe Rexha and Laverne Cox were among those who did not disappoint when it came to music's biggest night.
For the award-giving event, which took place on Sunday, February 5 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, fashion chameleon Doja wasn't afraid to go daring. Doja, who is up for five awards at the ceremony, looked powerful and evoked her dominance in the music industry with a full latex ensemble by Versace. The one-shouldered dress featured a cinched waist and a flared mermaid-style skirt with a circular train, with a pair of matching opera gloves completing the look.
Doja added a pair of thick geometric hoops for her accessories. The "Say So" rapper also wore a black buzz cut wig and a futuristic glam look including white and black graphic eyeliner and a frosted silver lip.
Lizzo, in the meantime, arrived at the awards show dressed in an orange Dolce & Gabbana corset gown layered beneath a matching floral cape, decking out both hands in dazzling diamond rings.
Ahead of her red carpet arrival, Lizzo showed off her look on Instagram in an epic Reel, giving followers a close-up of her clementine eye makeup, bold lashes and nude lips. "Let's go Grammys," the "About Damn Time" hitmaker, who's nominated for five Grammys, captioned the video along with an on-theme peach emoji as her song "Special" played.
As for Bebe, she arrived on the red carpet wearing a plunging bubblegum pink gown by Moschino. Bebe, who's nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for "I'm Good (Blue)", a remix of the 1998 hit "Blue (Da Be Dee)" by Eiffel 65, updated Marilyn Monroe's iconic pink gown in "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" with her dress and matching gloves. The singer's ensemble featured a halter neckline with a daring cutout and gathered fabric on the bodice, draping down into a skirt with a high slit.
In addition to Doja, Laverne rocked a black gown. The "Orange Is the New Black" alum turned heads on the red carpet with her Cleopatra-inspired look that included a black leather dress by Kim Kassas Couture and some gold necklaces.
The 2023 Grammys will be hosted by Trevor Noah. The award ceremony is set to feature performances from Harry Styles, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z and DJ Khaled. The award show is available to stream live on live.grammy.com.
