AceShowbiz - Jayda Cheaves has once again set the record straight on her relationship status with Lil Baby after sparking reconciliation rumors. In a new video filmed while she's driving a car, the entrepreneur insisted that she and the rapper are not back together, but they remain "cool."

When someone off the camera asked Jayda if she and Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, are giving their romance another try, she quickly replied. "No. Me and Dominique not back together." She added, "But, that's my homie. It's okay to be cordial and friends with somebody that you're no longer with. It's okay to be cool. "

The social media personality noted that people are so used to bash or beef with their exes when they're no longer together, but it doesn't have to be like that. "We are not officially in a relationship, but we are always gonna be cool," she stated.

Jayda claimed that they'll always maintain that relationship where he can tell her everything and she can tell him everything, at least "until, like he find a girlfriend." She continued, "If he find him a girlfriend y'all, I'll leave him alone. But he keeps bothering me, so I'm here."

Jayda and Lil Baby, who share a son named Loyal Armani, broke up in 2021 after an on-and-off relationship. Despite their split, they have been seen together multiple times, including during an outing in Atlanta back in August.

After sparking reconciliation rumors with their outing, Jayda took to Instagram to explain where things are at between her and her ex-boyfriend. "It's 100% okay to be cordial with the person you're raising a child with..it's not normalized in today's society but it's true," she penned in the comment of The Shade Room's post. "Y'all want me and Loyal daddy to be beefing so bad. We over that stage...we friends."
