On July 16, Lil Baby shared a TikTok video showing a meeting with his team and label, hinting at the new album’s progress. In the clip, he emphasized that the project is moving steadily, confirming fans can expect fresh music soon.

Later that day, Lil Baby dropped “Dead Fresh,” the lead single from the upcoming album, which features production from Pharrell Williams. This track was initially previewed by Pharrell during the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring-Summer 2027 show held in Paris last June. Alongside Lil Baby’s collaboration, Pharrell also teased other new songs including one with Quavo titled “Haavin” and another with YoungBoy Never Broke Again called “Simulation.”

According to Lil Baby’s Instagram Story, fans can look forward to a golf-inspired music video for “Dead Fresh,” directed by Kid Art, which is scheduled for release on July 20. This visual will be the first glimpse into the new album era.

The forthcoming album will follow Lil Baby’s January 2025 release WHAM, which featured notable artists such as Young Thug, Future, GloRilla, Rylo Rodriguez, Rod Wave, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage. That project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 140,000 equivalent units in its first week and marking Lil Baby’s fourth consecutive chart-topping album.
