AceShowbiz - Seth Rogen and Chelsea Handler roasted Kim Kardashian at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Breakfast on Wednesday, December 7. While onstage, Seth launched into a funny tirade on the SKIMS founder's absence at the event.
The actor said during his monologue, "Are we going to talk about how Kim Kardashian didn't show up?" The "Pam & Tommy" star continued sarcastically, "I have seen every episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' I know she doesn't have anything more important to do than this."
He then brought up Kim's ex-husband Kanye West's ongoing anti-Semitic controversy to the discussion. "Honestly, she's probably dealing with a lot right now," Seth said before presenting Charlize Theron with the coveted Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.
Chelsea Handler continued the jokes during her speech. The comedienne kicked off her speech by talking about those who might wonder if the "extra security outside was for Kim Kardashian."
The "This Means War" actress then noted that the beefed up security had actually "showed up because I am wearing Marilyn Monroe's DivaCup." Obviously, Chelsea was taking shots at "The Kardashians" star who borrowed the music icon's dress to this year's Met Gala.
Kim shared that she had to lose 16lbs to fit into the dress, which the Hollywood Icon wore while singing a seductive take on "Happy Birthday" at an event for President John F. Kennedy. The SKKN founder was also accused of damaging the dress, though she denied the allegations.
As for the reason of Kim's absence at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Breakfast, TMZ claimed that the reality TV star was given the wrong date for the event. "The wrong event date was given to Kim's team several weeks ago," a source revealed to the news outlet.
"The error was realized only on Monday and unfortunately, her schedule could not be moved around at the last minute due to a prior work commitment. She was incredibly disappointed to not be able to attend since she never cancels," the insider continued.
