Prior to this, the Florida rapper expressed his feelings with a romantic poem, titled 'Because Of You', that he wrote on Valentine's Day for the 'Euphoria' star while he was in prison.

AceShowbiz - Kodak Black is serious when he says he has a crush on Zendaya Coleman. The 25-year-old hip-hop star says on his new song "Kodak the Boss" that he's working on six-pack abs to win the "Dune" star's heart, but only to be mocked.
On the newly-released song, the Florida native raps, "I'm fantasizin' on my bunk 'bout a Bentley truck/ Like, 'If I cut my dreads, will Zendaya let me f**k?' " He continues, "Like, 'If I get a six-pack, you will let me hit that, huh?' "
Upon learning of the lyrics, social media users poured their thoughts, with many finding it hilarious. "KODAK ain't giving up [laughing with tears emoji]," one person tweeted. Another added, "So You REALLY Thinking She Leaving Spider Man For You Cuh?! NOT Happening," referring to Zendaya's current boyfriend Tom Holland, who stars as Spider-Man in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A different user chimed in, "Bro think she bout to leave spiderman for him?" while someone else wrote, "He acting like her current bf didn't save the universe or sum." Another quipped, "Marvel gotta cast Kodak as the villain in the next Spider-Man movie now."
The song isn't Kodak's first attempt to profess his feelings to Zendaya. Back in 2020, the "Super Gremlin" rapper wrote a Valentine's Day poem for the "Euphoria" star. The emcee, who was in prison at the time, uploaded the romantic poem on his Instagram feed.
"Zoolin In A Ice Box, Frozen In Time, But Mentally You're My Valentine," Kodak penned. He went on saying, "Hope I Made You Smile With This Poem, I'm Thinking Bout You All The Way Home."
Kodak concluded the poem with a slight warning toward any actor that tries to get in his way. "P.S. Don't Make Me Beat Spider Man Up," joking about Zendaya playing the role of Spider-Man's eventual love interest Mary Jane.
Then in April 2021, Kodak declared that he has a crush on Zendaya. In a video circulating on social media at the time, the "ZEZE" spitter was asked who his celebrity crush is. In response, he first said, "[Beyonce Knowles]," before revealing the truth, "Nah, I'm just kidding. Zendaya. I'd change my whole life for her."
Kodak's song about Zendaya came on the heels of rumors that he's dating Monica as they appeared to get closer to each other lately. However, Monica debunked the speculations, noting that nothing is going on between her and Kodak.
"Not every relationship is about messing or dating!" Monica explained. "I hang with their moms because I'm their age! LOL.. I'm gonna FOREVER love support & encourage them! They don't play about me."
