The 'Easy On Me' hitmaker only needs one Tony award to join the list of artists who have the prestigious EGOT title following her first Emmy win at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in September.

AceShowbiz - Adele is one step closer to getting the EGOT title but she's not a "massive broadway fan." In a new interview, the "Easy on Me" hitmaker revealed her alternative plan to complete the prestigious status.

Speaking to Broadway World, the 34-year-old chart-topping songstress was asked if she would ever like to complete her EGOT by coming to Broadway. In response, she said, "I thought that," before confessing, "I can't lie guys, I'm not a massive Broadway fan."

"I know, I know. I'm talking about musicals though because I've been seeing a couple of plays but I don't think I've seen enough," Adele further reasoned. Though so, the "I Drink Wine" artist said she would consider doing the musical "Gypsy" if she could play Rose, specifically during "Rose's Turn", the character's 11 o'clock number.

Adele explained, "I saw ['Gypsy'] in London and I did love the role of the mum in it. She has a song when she was like, 'I wanted to do all of this' and she's jealous of her own daughter and she's really caught up about it." She added, "At one bit, she was just a b***h in it which I could nail."

"I don't think I've seen enough [Broadway] as a grown up to know if I would want to do it," Adele shared. "I was wondering, do I just move the show from Vegas to Broadway and win the Tony? I actually prefer the sound of an EGO than an EGOT. EGO is fun. But never say never. If I move to New York, I get bored, I'll be on that stage in a hot second," she continued.

Adele added, "I actually know Bette Midler which is a big flex, right? Because she's one of my idols. She was like, 'You would never be able to keep up with the schedule on Broadway.' Because I'm so lazy." The "Someone Like You" star went on stressing, "I'm so notoriously lazy … I would not be able to do matinees and all that. I don't have the stamina for that."

Adele only needs one Tony award to join the list of artists who have the prestigious EGOT title following her first Emmy win at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. In September, she took home the Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) gong for her CBS special "Adele One Night Only".

Adele first won a Grammy in 2009 in Best New Artist category. Throughout her career, she has won fifteen Grammys. As for her Oscar, she received it in 2013 for Best Original Song for "Skyfall", which also serves as the very first Oscar for a Bond film in 47 years. While celebrating her first Emmy win, she joked that she "officially has an EGO."
