AceShowbiz - Kris Jenner hopes to tell the truth. The Kardashian-Jenner momager addresses wild rumors that she was the one who released Kim Kardashian and Ray J's sex tape, but this time, she takes a lie detector test.
When making an appearance in the Thursday, September 8 episode of "The Late Late Show with James Corden", the 66-year-old reality TV personality took a polygraph test. When host James Corden asked if she helped "Kim release her sex tape," she shook her head. "It's okay, but no," she continued, before the machine determined she was telling the truth. "Oh, I like that we cleared that up."
Back in May, Ray J alleged his sex tape leak was a "deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me." The trio had allegedly wanted to mimic the same level of success and fame as their close family friend, Paris Hilton, who had also had a sex tape leaked.
"Once I pitched the idea to her [Kim], just playing around a little bit, that's when she jumped on the idea, talked to her mom and it was out of my hands from there," the "One Wish" hitmaker further alleged. The R&B star, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., claimed the SKIMS founder gave her the tape and Kris then shared it with Vivid Entertainment. He further claimed that they signed a contract for three tapes but only one tape from a trip to Cabo was made public.
The "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" alum, who dated Kim from 2003 to 2006, also claimed he never possessed a tape and even dubbed the rumors that he leaked it "the biggest lie in the industry in the history of entertainment."
"For the remainder of my life, I'm going to live in my truth and not in the lie that's been created by Kris Jenner and Kim," Ray J said at the time. "I will not let them do this to me anymore."
As for Kris' lie detector test, it also showed that Kylie Jenner is her favorite daughter. When being asked by the Kylie Cosmetics founder, "Am I your favorite child?" Kris responded, "Yes," before jokingly saying, "I can't go home," as the test proved her response was not a lie.
Kris also shut down rumors that Kim ripped Marilyn Monroe's dress while attending the Met Gala in May. After Kris' answer was proved to be true, she said, "See? We're clearing everything up today. I like this game."
However, Kris was not entirely truthful when it came to feelings about Kourtney Kardashian's PDA with husband Travis Barker. She said their affection is only too much "once in a while." When the polygraph examiner said she was lying, she tried to clarify, "Once in a while, it's too much … a little bit goes a long way." She added, "I'm trying to say it as nice as possible. I really can't go home now."
