Before allegedly hooking up with Raquel at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' wedding in Cancun, Mexico, Tom shared how her past relationship with Katie made her overlook Raquel.

AceShowbiz - "Vanderpump Rules" star Tom Schwartz apparently had shown interest in co-star Raquel Leviss weeks before their alleged hook-up. During his appearance on Scheana Shay's podcast, Tom gushed over Raquel while admitting that he had been overlooking her until he split from Katie Maloney.
In the July 22 episode of "Scheananigans", Tom called Raquel "cool as s**t." While opening up about his divorce from Katie, he shared that his relationship with his now-ex might be the reason why he never gave Raquel a chance.
"I was so caught up in my own little world and I was married - I never took time to get to know Raquel," Tom told host Scheana. "She was always cool."
He went on to say, "I just never really took [the] time to invest in her. That's a horrible way to phrase it. I never really gave her a chance. She has so much depth and character. I think I wrote her off."
Tom's comments arrived less than a month before he and Raquel allegedly made out at Scheana and Brock Davies' August 23 wedding in Mexico. A source revealed that "apparently there was some heavy drinking involved. They made out." The two allegedly didn't stop at just locking lips. The insider additionally claimed that they heard "through the grapevine" that "more happened" between the pair.
The development between Tom and Raquel's relationship reportedly caused tension between them and Katie. Katie seemingly didn't attend the wedding ceremony despite being on vacation in Cancun with the rest of the Bravo stars.
Katie and Tom announced their divorce in March, ending their romance after 12 years of being together. "I never thought I would have to make an announcement like this. But I feel it's important that I'm open about my life with you," Katie began her statement at the time. "After 12 years on an adventure through our life together Tom and I are ending our marriage. This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose."
"We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship," she added, "Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support on another's happiness."
In his own statement, meanwhile, Tom called the divorce "sucks." He went on to say, "How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f**kin canned Instagram caption." He added that while he's "not quite ready to use the 'D' word bc it's too painful," he believed that he will "be ok."
