AceShowbiz - Despite their split, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz manage to have a civil relationship. However, that changes following Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' wedding that brought many of "Vanderpump Rules" stars to Cancun this week. According to a new report, tension is growing between the exes and it has something to do with co-star Raquel Leviss.
A source spills to E! News, Tom and Raquel are getting closer and Katie isn't exactly thrilled about it. It is also said that Tom and Raquel were going flirty with each other during the wedding. The development allegedly causes tension between Katie and Tom.
After announcing their divorce in March, the former couple had managed to remain on good terms as they continued hanging out together. The two were even considering to celebrate their upcoming sixth wedding anniversary together.
Of their current relationship with Tom, Katie explained in the August 19 episode of "You're Gonna Love Me with Katie Maloney", "I don't think there's any rules." Tom added that while he's not "happier than I've ever been," he's extremely "optimistic and grateful" for where he and Katie were at.
He went on to say, "I'm happy that we're still close. I think relatively speaking, we've done a damn good job divorcing each other."
Katie broke the news about their divorce on Instagram on March 15. "I never thought I would have to make an announcement like this. But I feel it's important that I'm open about my life with you," she wrote at the time. "After 12 years on an adventure through our life together Tom and I are ending our marriage. This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose."
"We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship," she added, "Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support on another's happiness."
As for Tom, he confirmed the news and called the divorce "sucks." He went on to say, "How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f**kin canned Instagram caption." Tom also noted that while he's "not quite ready to use the 'D' word bc it's too painful," he believed that he will "be ok."
