In a statement, the lawyer of Kenneth Petty's rape accuser claims the video featuring Jennifer recanting her allegations against Kenneth is 'heavily edited.'

AceShowbiz - Kenneth Petty's alleged victim isn't going to back down anytime soon despite recent video suggesting otherwise. After a video leaked in which Jennifer Hough seemed to recant her allegations against Nicki Minaj's husband, her lawyer has cast strong doubt on the validity of the clip.

Tyrone A. Blackburn, who reps Jennifer, said in a statement to Radar Online, "This heavily edited video conversation with Jennifer and Black (the same man that threatened her life on IG live) does not deserve a comment." Doubling down on the rape allegations against Kenneth, the lawyer added, "Ask that rapist to explain the transcript from his plea hearing where he admitted to attempting to rape Jennifer with a knife at his grandmother's house."

He gave a similar response to Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked. "The video clips online are old heavily edited clips between Jennifer and Black," read the message which screenshot was shared by Jason. "Nicki's team should post the entire conversation and not just snippets. We are not worried! In fact the Queens DA is in the process of compiling over 200 pages of documents stemming from the 1994/5 rap hearing and conviction which we will use in our civil case against Kenneth."

Jason also claimed that he has an interview with Jennifer coming soon. "Keep trying to change the narrative. That interview is coming," so the blogger, who has butted heads with Nicki and the Barbz on several occasions, tweeted.

In the leaked video, Jennifer allegedly told Kenneth's pal that she was "pressured" to press charges against Nicki's hubby. She also claimed that she attempted to have the charges dropped, but she was told to refer to the D.A. who shot her down.

"There's no statute of limitations on perjury. Perjury is when you lie under oath," Jennifer explained in the clip. "And regardless, if I made a statement or didn't make a statement, that is the reason why I stood up in court and I said, when the judge asked, 'Like, yo does anybody have anything to say before he is sentenced?' I stood up and I said, 'Your honor, I'm the person who pressed the charges. I would like to drop the charges. I made a huge mistake.' "

She continued, "This was in court. In front of his family, in front of friends, in front of everybody. Whatever. And they was like, 'Take it to the D.A. and nobody wanted to hear s**t.' "

While Kenneth's attorney has not publicly addressed the leaked video, Nicki seemed to double down on her husband's innocence. Following the video leak, she liked a tweet which read, "Justice for the Petty's! No wonder Nicki stood by her man side because all along she knew the truth and so did us REAL Barbz that actually followed the case and read documents and didn't goby social media opinions but went by facts!"
