The 'Better Call Saul' actor's fans rally behind him after he's heavily criticized for following an account under the username perfect_feet_in_sexy_shoes on the photo-sharing app.

AceShowbiz - Bob Odenkirk may have a strange fetish but that doesn't let his fans stop adoring him. The "Better Call Saul" star has been defended by his loyal supporters after he was caught following a foot fetish account on Instagram.

Earlier this month, the actor portraying Saul Goodman on "Breaking Bad" was spotted following @perfect_feet_in_sexy_shoes on Instagram. He only follows 28 other people on the photo-sharing app.

Shortly after fans noticed the new addition to Bob's following list, he faced intense backlash. Amid the mass clowning, the "Nobody" leading man seemed to tap the unfollow button on the account's page.

A few days later, the "Better Call Saul" Twitter account seemingly joked about the incident, urging viewers to "stay on your toes" ahead of the next episode. "Stay on your toes, the penultimate episode of #BetterCallSaul premieres tomorrow," read the tweet.

While critics mocked Bob for the bizarre social media gesture, some fans defended the 59-year-old actor. "Bob Odenkirk suffered a near-death experience and now is living life to the fullest by following a fetish account on main," said one person on Twitter. "He deserves some sexy shoes and feet after all he's done for us."

A separate user penned, "Everyone can have a kink if they're not a weirdo about it … It's also completely possible that he just loves shoes." Someone else described Bob's action as a "triumph of the human spirit."

Others urged social media critics to "leave him alone," with one saying, "Leave him alone!! Enjoy those feet bro." Echoing a similar statement, someone else tweeted, "YAS! Leave this man alone and let him enjoy whatever he enjoys. Stop kink-shaming people with different kinks than you."

That aside, Bob recently assured his fans that he's now feeling "good" after undergoing a surgery following a near-fatal heart attack on "Better Call Saul" set in July 2021. In a June interview, he said, "I got two stents, a tiny part of my heart is made of metal, and I feel good."

Bon went on adding that he was not scared at all over the health scare "because [he doesn't] remember anything" about it. The cause of the incident was a plaque which was built up in his heart. The father of two said he was fine until last year, which was when "one of those pieces of plaque broke up."

"It was scary to [his co-stars] Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian, who were standing right there when it happened, and everybody else, the whole crew who came around," he explained. "They were utterly freaked out, but I can't recall anything."
