The Queen of Pop has been facing intense criticism for allegedly applying heavy makeup and filters as well as photoshopping her face to look younger in photos.

AceShowbiz - Madonna has landed in hot water again for looking younger in photos. The "Material Girl" hitmaker has been urged to get "serious help" after she asked her fans to send presents for her upcoming birthday with sexy youthful snapshots.

On Sunday, August 14, the Queen of Pop turned to her Instagram Stories to share a bunch of sexy photos of her posing in a black lace bra. In the said photos, the "Like a Virgin" artist's skin looked youthful and smooth. "It's Almost My Birthday.... Send Me Presents....," the multi-platinum artist, who will turn 64 on Tuesday, August 16, captioned the pictures.

The snapshots saw Madonna wearing an all-black ensemble which included lycra panties with a lace bra and sheer Swiss dot top, knee high stockings and black pumps. She also wore some diamond necklaces. The photos included a closeup of her leg, her cleavage as well as her bottom.

Upon learning of the racy photos, Internet users suggested the "Papa Don't Preach" songstress to seek professional help. "someone needs to help her get evaluated for dementia," one person shared his/her thoughts on Twitter, with another adding, "She needs to get serious help. fr."

"Filtered to an inch of its life, ban filters false reality in the media its pathetic," a third chimed in. A fourth pointed out, "Even her shadow doesnt recognize her." Someone else said, "The worlds most insecure, desperate woman posts a heavily filtered picture that bares absolutely no resemblance to her at all."

Others, in the meantime, slammed Madonna for trying to be "relevant" at her age. "The sad thing is, that if she had aged with dignity, she would still be such a huge icon. And you can still be sexy in your 60s or 70s without trying to look like a 25-year-old," one person wrote. "It's time to grow old gracefully," another suggested, while a third penned, "A 64 year old wishing she was 24. Just sad."

More recently, Madonna also faced backlash after she looked way younger than her age when she appeared in the Thursday, August 11 episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". Many viewers criticized her youthful look, accusing her of using too much face fillers and botox.

During the interview, Madonna promoted her new album "Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones", which is scheduled to release on Friday, August 19. The compilation will include remastered tracks of her hits, including "Holiday", "Get Into the Groove" and "Ray of Light". Among the featured artists on the set are Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj and Maluma.
