AceShowbiz - Lil Durk has offered fans an update on his condition after getting hit with onstage explosives at the 2022 Lollapalooza. Making use of Instagram, the "Laugh Now Cry Later" rapper shared a photo of himself showing that his eye was bandaged.

The said picture, posted on Sunday, July 31, displayed Durk sitting in a hospital bed as he wore a mask. For his outfit, the 29-year-old emcee sported a blue hoodie and jeans.

In the caption, Durk wrote, "Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, I'ma take a break & focus on my health." He added, "I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate y'all."

Many have since sent well wishes to Durk. One in particular was fellow rapper Trippie Redd, who replied, "Damn get better bro." Swae Lee added, "Dam fast recovery." T.I. then chimed in, "Shake back King."

The incident took place on Saturday. The Only the Family founder was casually strolling across the stage of Chicago's Grant Park when he was suddenly hit by the explosion. He abruptly stopped his performance and walked back while wiping his eyes with his T-shirt.

"Whoa," his DJ exclaimed, before asking Durk, "You alright bro?" Just shortly after that, the "Broadway Girls" spitter continued rapping his verse.

Aside from Durk, day three of Lollapalooza featured performances from Blxst, YG, Big Sean and J. Cole. Meanwhile, Erica Banks, The Kid LAROI, Denzel Curry and Yung Nudy are among the rap acts booked for the Sunday show.

Durk was not the only artist who made headlines with his Lollapalooza performance. Cordae (YBN Cordae) also drove the Internet wild after debuting his Wolverine beard at the famed festival.
