Turning a year older when filming the tenth installment of 'The Fast and the Furious' film franchise, the Dominic Toretto depicter is seen sipping red wine with the older actress.

AceShowbiz - Vin Diesel has an unlikely companion for his birthday celebration. The actor best known for his portrayal of Dominic Toretto in "Fast and Furious" film franchise turned 55 on on Monday, July 18, and was spotted sharing a table to enjoy Italian cuisine together with co-star Helen Mirren in a Roman restaurant.

Seated in one of the tables at Antica Pesa's garden, the 55-year-old was reported rocking a tank top underneath a blazer during his outing with his 76-year-old co-star. The two were seen taking a break from filming "Fast and Furious 10" in Rome. A source spilled to Page Six, "Diesel was wearing a blazer, which he then took off to reveal a tank top, fitting for the scorching temps."

Diesel, whose birth name is Mark Sinclair, and his co-star were joined on the table by one of the film producers. A source shared that the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor apparently "sat in the restaurant's garden and sipped on red wine" with the "RED" actress, before "switching over to prosecco for the birthday moment."

It was further speculated that the dinner might also serve as a double celebration for both Diesel and Mirren since the "Woman in Gold" actress will turn 77 years old on Tuesday, July 26. The two Hollywood stars were said to have "an amazing time" while feasting in the restaurant's garden.

Diesel was reported to have befriended Mirren and apparently grown closer to her during the filming of the tenth installment for the "Fast and Furious" franchise. A source pointed out, "It seems as if Diesel and Mirren have become good friends throughout filming. As they sang him 'Happy Birthday,' he changed the lyrics to 'Happy birthday, dear Helen,' because her birthday is July 26."

The two reportedly ordered Italian classic cuisine like cacio e pepe and smoked duck for the alleged birthday celebration. When the kitchen came with Diesel's favorite Victorian sponge for his birthday, the action stalwart was said to be "surprised" with the gesture.

Prior to filming the "Fast and Furious 10" with Diesel, Mirren admitted in an interview with New York Post that she approached the actor for a role after seeing him at a party. "I introduced myself and shamelessly begged him tо put me in оne оf his mоvies," she quipped.
