Kodak Black Arrested After Drugs Found in His Car During Florida Traffic Stop

The 'Wake Up in the Sky' rapper, whose real name is Bill Kahan Kapri, was traveling in a Dodge Durango Friday in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, July 15 when he was pulled over by police.

AceShowbiz - Kodak Black had a run-in with the law once again. It was unveiled that the "Super Gremlin" rapper was arrested in Florida after police found drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

The 25-year-old hip-hop star, whose real name is Bill Kahan Kapri, was traveling in a Dodge Durango Friday in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, July 15 when he was stopped by police. Radio host Andy Slater further detailed on Twitter, "Cops pulled over the rapper and during a search found 30+ Oxycodone pills and over $50,000 in cash."

"Kodak Black was stopped for an expired tag and illegal window tints. Cops smelled weed when he opened the door to the bulletproof SUV he was driving, so they began a search," Andy added. "That's when they found the pills without a prescription and the cash.

According to TMZ, the "Wake Up in the Sky" spitter was "arrested and hauled off to Broward County jail." Sources claimed he has been charged with trafficking.

Kodaks was previously sentenced to 46 months in Kentucky's United States Penitentiary Big Sandy after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a firearm. He was released from jail in January after receiving a pardon from Donald Trump on the latter's final full day as POTUS.

Upon his release, Kodak extended his gratitude to the former president on Twitter. "I Want To Thank The President @RealDonaldTrump For His Commitment To Justice Reform And Shortening My Sentence," he wrote at that time. "I Also Want To Thank Everyone For Their Support And Love. It Means More Than You Will Ever Know. I Want To Continue Giving Back, Learning And Growing."
