AceShowbiz - Bethenny Frankel is celebrating her new project after she has landed a new TV gig on CNBC Prime network. While many fans are happy for her, fellow former Housewife NeNe Leakes seemingly is the opposite.
On Monday, July 11, Bethenny took to her Instagram account to announce that she would be joining "Shark Tank" star Kevin O'Leary for the second season of CNBC's "Money Court". The series will see the co-hosts using their business expertise to help other business owners settle financial issues and disputes.
"I have reached a place in my career where I say no more than I say yes to opportunities in the interest of a better quality of life. When this idea and opportunity presented itself and evolved into what it is, I was so excited to embark on this business entertainment journey," "The Real Housewives of New York City" alum wrote in the caption. "This was a quality production, a challenging business endeavor and a hilarious television experience."
Concluding her caption, Bethenny shared, "What an incredible journey this was! I CANNOT wait for you to see this show. This is the duo and business dynamic you never knew you needed. #moneycourt #cnbc #cnbcprime."
Some of her famous friends left supportive messages in the comments section. Actress Gretchen Rossi wrote, "So amazing! Congrats!" Meanwhile, Lauren Zima commented, "Hell yes!!!!" NeNe, however, appeared shady with her comment which read, "Am not surprised."
Bethenny's new project arrived after she won MTV's newest award, Unscripted Reality Royalty Queen, at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards. The network, however, was slammed by some fans who believed that NeNe deserved the title. When asked about losing the award, the former Bravo personality said, "I mean I don't know….You know Bethenny definitely did a lot of great things in New York city for that franchise….Just keeping it real, she definitely didn't do as much as I did. Just for real."
Prior to this, NeNe, who is suing Bravo and Andy Cohen for encouraging racism on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", claimed that the network's execs "blacklisted" and "silenced" her for speaking up against the network that helped her rise to fame. "But I was constantly being retaliated against, being blacklisted, not able to work, being silenced, and so, you know, it was difficult to do," she told TMZ back in May.
