Laura Benanti is now a mom of two. Revealing that he and her husband Patrick Brown have welcomed their second child together, the "Life & Beth" actress took to social media to introduce their newborn daughter.

Making use of Instagram on Saturday, July 9, the 42-year-old shared two pictures of her kids. The first photo saw her first-born daughter Ella letting her baby sister hold onto her finger. The second, meanwhile, showed the child smiling as she cradled the tot in her arms.

"Please welcome to the world Louisa Georgia Benanti-Brown," Laura began her caption. "On July 9th at 2:43am we were blessed with the arrival of our second daughter. Like many, the journey towards growing our family has had many challenges."

"However, our journey has also been marked by the privilege to pursue different paths to grow our family. Specifically, our remarkable surrogate (an angel-on-earth) who carried our precious girl and delivered her into our arms; an other-worldly generosity of spirit, body, and kindness that can never be repaid," she added. "Ella and Louisa. Rainbow babies. Rainbow sisters."

Laura and her husband Patrick tied the knot in November 2015 at Riverside Church in Harlem, New York. The couple eventually announced in August 2017 that they were expecting their first child after previously suffering a miscarriage.

Back in May, the "tick, tick...Boom!" star gave a shout-out to her spouse for his dedication to their family. "I have always wanted to be an artist. I have always wanted to be a Mother. My beautiful husband, Patrick, makes that possible," she penned in May alongside a family portrait.

"Thank you, my love, for being the rock of our family," she further gushed. "For managing our home, caring for our daughter, caring for our doggies, caring for my heart, and making sure I don’t make myself small, all while forging your own path in this world."

"Thank you for making it possible for me to pursue my dreams, and for reminding me that in doing so I am showing our daughter that she can pursue hers, whatever they might be," the Tony Award nominee continued. "There is not a moment of the day that I am not buoyed by my love for you."
