Marcy Posey Gatterman reveals that after her daughter's shocking passing, she found out the teen had ordered a sentimental gift for her that arrived two weeks after she took her own life.

AceShowbiz - "Toddlers & Tiaras" star Kailia Posey left behind a sentimental gift for her mom following her tragic passing. As she continues mourning the loss of her daughter, Marcy Posey Gatterman has revealed the special gift that her late daughter had ordered for her before she took her own life.
In an interview with E! News, Marcy said that Kailia found a special blanket on TikTok that she wanted to have for her mom. The present arrived in the mail two weeks after Kailia's death and Marcy has since taken comfort from it.
According to Marcy, the blanket has a message that reads, "Dear Mom, even when I'm not close by, I want you to know I love and appreciate you. Always. Wrap yourself up in this and consider it a big hug. I love you."
Marcy also recalled Kailia's final days leading to her death. "The days and weeks leading up to this, it seemed fine to me," she told the news outlet. "I didn't go through her phone. For prom, she went with a bunch of friends. And the next day, everything was fine."
However, on that fateful day, Kailia made that "rash decision" to end her life. Marcy said just minutes after she headed out to run the errand, her teenage daughter left the house with one of the family's cars and left suicide notes.
"She left a note for me and then one for her best friend," Marcy shared. "The note said that she loved me and that she was sorry and that her big brother is her best friend forever." The grieving mom noted, "I don't think she knew how many people loved her. I wish I could go back."
"This is the worst thing a mother can go through," Marcy lamented, before urging other parents to learn from her experience, "Parents who have teenagers that have phones, check their phones. And if you're struggling, talk to your parents. They're not judging you. They're going to get you the help that you need, but we need to know what you need in order get the help you need. Don't keep it inside."
Marcy confirmed her daughter Kailia's death on May 2. "I don't have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever," she posted on Facebook at the time.
Later, her family revealed in a statement that the runner-up in the Miss Washington Teen USA Pageant took her own life. "Although she was an accomplished teenager with a bright future ahead of her, unfortunately in one impetuous moment, she made the rash decision to end her earthly life," the family said. She was only 16 years old.
Kailia starred in an episode of "Toddlers & Tiaras", which aired on TLC from 2009 to 2013. On the show, Kailia, who was 5 years old at the time, competed in the California Tropic Arizona pageant. She was famous for her reaction during an interview on the show which has been turned into an online GIF as the "grinning girl."
