AceShowbiz - Will Smith has opened up about having a vision about his life. In an interview with David Letterman taped before the 2022 Oscars ceremony, where he slapped Chris Rock over Jada Pinkett Smith joke, the "King Richard" actor revealed that he saw his "whole life" being "destroyed."

When making an appearance in the new season of David's Netflix show, "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction", the 53-year-old actor recalled having a vision that his home, money and career would be taken from him during a two year period in which he tried the psychedelic drug, ayahuasca, 14 times. "Once you drink it you're going to see yourself in a way you've never seen yourself," he said, adding that "one of the experiences was the individual most hellish psychological experience of [his] life."

"I drank, and it usually takes about 45 minutes to kick in. And I'm sitting there and you always feel like, 'Maybe it won't kick in this time,' " Will remembered. He further detailed, "So I'm drinking and sitting there and then all of a sudden it's like I start seeing all of my money flying away, and my house is flying away and my career is going away." He then stressed, "My whole life is getting destroyed."

Will told David that he began to panic and tried to "grab" for his money and career. He added, "This is my fear in real life, and I'm in there and I'm wanting to vomit and all of that, and I hear a voice saying, 'This is what the f**k it is. This is what the f**k life is.' "

Will explained that during the "trip" he heard his daughter Willow Smith calling out for help which made him stop caring about losing his money and career. "Then slowly I stopped caring about my money, I just wanted to get to Willow. I stopped caring about my house, I stopped caring about my career," he elaborated.

Will, who's banned from Oscars for the following 10 years after the awkward confrontation, then said that the frightening experience helped him gain a new perspective on life. "When I came out of it, I realized that anything that happens in my life, I can handle it," the actor revealed of the outcome. "I can handle any person I lose, I can handle anything that goes wrong in my life, I can handle anything in my marriage. I can handle anything that this life has to offer me."
