AceShowbiz - JoJo Fletcher couldn't contain her excitement after tying the knot with Jordan Rodgers. "The Bachelorette" alum, who got engaged to the former college and professional American football quarterback six years ago, gushed about feeling "so lucky" following their nuptials.
"It sounds cliche, but I really am marrying my best friend," the 31-year-old beauty told PEOPLE. "Everything that's happened in our relationship has only made us stronger. And we just feel so lucky."
JoJo, who's still overwhelmed by the union, went on to rave, "It feels so good! It took a while to get here but it was all so worth it. We are FINALLY married!!!" She added, "Can't wait to start this next chapter of our life together."
JoJo and Jordan exchanged vows in front of family and close friends at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California, on Saturday, May 14. Bacherlor Nation alums Becca Tilley, Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk were among the guests.
Speaking about the wedding, JoJo explained, "We wanted the vibe of our wedding to be traditional in a sense, but also playful and fun and unique." She further elaborated, "We've been planning for a long time, so we wanted it to be just right!"
JoJo and Jordan met during her season of "The Bachelorette" in 2016. They left the ABC dating show engaged, but Jordan proposed to his fiancee for the second time in August 2019 as they were looking at wedding venues in California over.
"3 years ago we got engaged in a way that some, if not all, would say is crazy and totally unconventional. & They were right. It was. But it was also very real," the reality TV star shared at the time. "We took a leap of faith that day and hoped/prayed things would work out how we wanted them to. Times were not always easy... they actually got very very hard early on, but we stuck by each other and worked every day towards our relationship. Yesterday, Jordan asking me to marry him... again!!"
