AceShowbiz - Will Smith has resurfaced in public after he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. The Academy Award-winning actor has been spotted for the first time since the infamous incident when arriving in India over the weekend.

The 53-year-old arrived on Saturday, April 23 at a private airfield in Mumbai and the paparazzi apparently knew he was coming. He was awaited by a horde of paparazzi and greeted by fans upon his arrival.

Will appeared to be in good spirits as he was all smiles and waved to the photographers, who were shouting his name to get his attention. "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" alum was also willing to take pictures with several fans, including someone who looks like an airport security official.

The husband of Jada Pinkett Smith dressed casually in a white T-shirt, grey shorts over white compression pants and Jordan sneakers. He had a necklace, which seemed to be given by the local people to welcome him, hung around his neck.

Will Smith in Mumbai

Will Smith resurfaced in Mumbai after the Oscars slap.

Will was not joined by his wife Jada, who recently returned with a new episode of her Facebook Watch series "Red Table Talk". The show addressed the Oscars slap with a message that read, "Considering all that has happened in that last few weeks, the Smith family has been focusing on deep healing...some of the discoveries around our healing will be shared at the table when the time calls."

"Until then, the table will continue offering itself to powerful, inspiring and healing testimonies like that of our incredibly impressive first guest," it continued to read. "Thanks for joining us, Jada."

Will himself will return on the small screen with a new docuseries about his weight loss journey. In a new trailer for "Will Smith: The Best Shape of My Life", the actor opened up about his mental health struggle while he attempted to lose 20 pounds in twenty weeks.

"I thought I was getting into the best shape of my life, physically. But mentally, I was somewhere else. And I ended up discovering a whole lotta hidden things about myself," he says in the video. Elsewhere in the promo, he says, "That was the only time in my life that I ever considered suicide."

The series will premiere on November 8 on YouTube.
