The 'Saturday Night Live' legend reportedly 'was very hands-on touchy' as he 'put an arm around a woman, touched her hair and pulled her ponytail' on Aziz Ansari movie set amid an investigation for his alleged 'inappropriate behavior.'

AceShowbiz - Bill Murray reportedly was very touchy on the "Being Mortal" set. Amid an investigation for his alleged "inappropriate behavior" which later caused the production of his upcoming film to be suspended, the "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" actor allegedly was "handsy" with several women on set.

A source spilled to Page Six, "He was very hands-on touchy, not in any personal areas, but put an arm around a woman, touched her hair, pulled her ponytail." Though so, the informant highlighted that it's "always in a comedic way." The insider added, "It is a fine line and everybody loves Bill, but while his conduct is not illegal, some women felt uncomfortable and he crossed a line."

A separate source said that Bill, who is apparently single, "Loves women and loves to flirt." The so-called insider went on explaining, "He enjoys poetry and romance, he's always flirting, but it is always couched in comedy. It isn't clear if he crossed a line."

The cast and crew were told about production being suspended in a letter sent out by the studio, Searchlight Pictures, per Deadline. "We know you are all concerned about the recent delays in production and want to give you an update. Late last week, we were made aware of a complaint, and we immediately looked into it. After reviewing the circumstances, it has been decided that production cannot continue at this time," so read the letter.

"We are truly grateful to all of you for everything you've put into this project," the message continued. "Our hope is to resume production and are working with Aziz and [Youree Henley] to figure out that timing."

Following the investigation that led to the "Being Mortal" filming's suspension, Richard Dreyfuss' son, Ben Dreyfuss, claimed on Twitter that the Walt Disney Co. hired bodyguards to ensure the safety of the cast and crew of his dad's megahit 1991 comedy "What About Bob?" from Bill.

Ben alleged that Bill "had a meltdown" during the shoot after he was denied an extra day off by producer Laura Ziskin. The 35-year-old actor claimed Bill "ripped [Laura's] glasses off her face and [Richard] complained about his behavior and Bill Murray threw an ashtray at him."

"Everyone walked off the production and flew back to LA," claimed Ben. He further said that the production "only resumed after Disney hired some bodyguards to physically separate [his] dad and Bill Murray in between takes."

Prior to this, it has been widely reported that while filming the 2000 movie "Charlie's Angels", Bill clashed with his co-star Lucy Liu. He's said to have berated the actress after she confronted him over tweaking the script of the blockbuster.

Lucy herself claimed when she and Bill filmed a scene, he started to "sort of hurl insults" though she did not specify what he said. The 53-year-old actress added that she realized the insulting remarks were solely directed at her.

"I couldn't believe that [the comments] could be towards me, because what do I have to do with anything majorly important at that time?" Lucy told the Los Angeles Times during an interview last July. "I literally do the look around my shoulder thing, like, who is he talking to behind me?"
