AceShowbiz - Jessie J is letting her actions do the talking. The English singer/songwriter has seemingly confirmed her romantic relationship with basketballer Chanan Safir Colman, who is better known as Chanan Colman, a month after their dating rumors first surfaced.
The new lovebirds have been caught kissing in public for the first time. In paparazzi snaps obtained by Daily Mail, the "Nobody's Perfect" songstress and the Danish-Israeli basketball player packed on the PDA while stepping out for a lunch date in Los Angeles on Monday, April 18.
Jessie couldn't resist kissing her new boyfriend despite wearing a mask as they waited for their food at Besties Vegan Paradise in the L.A. neighborhood of Silverlake. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he leaned in for a smooch.
The two were also seen walking side-by-side in the trendy neighborhood, during which the 34-year-old singer seemed to be preoccupied with her cell phone. They were later seen driving off in a black Jeep Rubicon, with the athlete sitting behind the wheel.
For the outing, Jessie kept it casual and sporty in a white cropped top along with tight black leggings, giving a peek at her tummy. She also wore a pair of white Nike socks and multicolored sneakers, with a pair of stylish sunglasses perched on her head. She also had a large black leather quilted bag on her shoulder.
As for Chanan, the 38-year-old veteran pro athlete went color-coordinated with his girlfriend in a white long-sleeved T-shirt from sportswear brand 7 Days Active along with black athletic shorts and Air Jordan 7 sneakers in the citrus colorway.
Jessie and Chanan were first rumored to be in a relationship last month after the two went on a vacation in the Caribbean together. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she shared a picture of her with a group of friends, while getting cozy with the athlete.
A source told The Sun at the time, "Jessie and Chanan clearly like each other and they've been getting to know each other for quite a few months, she performed at a wedding in the Caribbean at the weekend and flew Chanan out with her for a bit of a break."
"It's not been an easy time for her after her miscarriage at the end of 2021, but she is looking on the bright side of everything," the insider continued. "She feels blessed to have Chanan in her life because they get on really well."
At the time, their relationship was reportedly not official just yet, as the source noted, "They are just seeing what happens but as far as her friends are concerned, things are looking good for them as a couple."
