AceShowbiz - It's seemingly safe to assume that Will Smith won't be discussing his controversial Oscars slap in the new season of wife Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk". The Emmy-winning Facebook Watch series will be returning for season 5 as it announced the season's upcoming lineup in a press release issued on Tuesday, April 19. However, Will is nowhere to be seen.

Hosted by Jada, her mother Adrienne Banfield Norris a.k.a. Gammy and Willow Smith, the talk show is set to return for its fifth season on April 20. The premiere episode will feature Grammy nominee Janelle Monae, who will be talking about coming out in her 30s and "how she overcame her fears of abandonment and healed from the traumatizing effects of her father's drug addiction." It will also feature a special appearance of her "feisty and fierce-loving mom" Janice Hawthorne.

Other guests for the new season include "Tinder Swindler" victim Ayleen Charlotte, Kim Basinger and daughter Ireland Baldwin as well as author Rachel DeLoache Williams. Real estate mogul and business expert Barbara Corcoran and the parents of Miss USA Cheslie Kryst, who tragically died by suicide earlier this year, are also set to appear.

Following his controversial drama at the 2022 Oscars, where he slapped comedian Chris Rock for joking about Jada's shaved head, Will has been lying low. The actor, who won Best Actor award for his performance in "King Richard" at this year's ceremony, was later banned from Oscar events for 10 years as a punishment for the assault.

While the Smiths apparently decide not to address the Oscars slap on the show, Will had a sit-down with "The Matrix Revolutions" actress to talk about her infidelity back in July 2020. The episode set a new record for the most views in 24 hours for a Facebook Watch original episode, with more than 15 million views reported in less than a day.
