Met while leaving Craig's in WeHo after dining out with his wife Skye Everly, the bassist also weighs in on his bandmate Travis Barker's relationship with Kourtney Kardashian.

AceShowbiz - Mark Hoppus is enjoying life as it is following his cancer battle. Months after he's declared free of lymphoma cancer, the Blink-182 member was all smiles as he stepped out for a dinner with his wife Skye Everly.

The 50-year-old musician was met by TMZ when leaving Craig's in West Hollywood on Saturday night, April 16. During his brief exchange with the cameraman, he gave a positive update on his current state.

"Life's great, I'm glad to be here," the rocker told the paparazzo. "Just getting back out into it," he added, before revealing what he's looking forward to the most, "I mostly wanted to get back into the studio and get back to playing music and get off my couch."

Asked if fans can expect for new music from him, Mark teased, "Hopefully soon. We'll see if I can write something happy this time." He also shared some lessons he learned following his cancer battle, "Enjoy each and every day."

Before Mark ended the short interview, he was asked if he thinks Kourtney Kardashian is the one for his bandmate Travis Barker. "Yes I do," he replied, before his wife Skye jokingly interjected, "I think I'm the one for Travis."

Mark first informed his fans of his cancer diagnosis in June 2021. At the time, he noted that he had already undergone three months of chemotherapy. "It sucks and I'm scared and at the same time I'm blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this," the bassist shared at the time.

In July, Mark opened up more about his illness, saying that he was experiencing stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. On September 29, he announced that he was declared cancer-free, and that he would be screened every 6 months in case the cancer returned.

"Thank you God and universe and friends and family and everyone who sent support and kindness and love," he expressed his gratitude via Instagram Story. He added, "Still have to get scanned every six months and it'll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed."
