The Ellie Reed depicter in 'The Adam Project' is reportedly happy for her former husband as she 'knows' that the 'Marry Me' actress 'has been a positive influence' for him.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner seemingly cannot wait to see Ben Affleck walking down the aisle with Jennifer Lopez. "The Adam Project" actress is reportedly "happy" for her former husband after he got engaged to the "On the Floor" hitmaker.
On Tuesday, April 12, E! News reported that before Ben got down on one knee, he already "told Jen and the kids, so they knew about it." A source told the outlet that "Jen is happy for Ben and knows that J. Lo has been a positive influence in certain ways."
The insider further explained that although Ben and J. Lo are ecstatic about their next chapter, "they had hoped to keep it private a little bit longer." A separate source described the engagement as "a very intimate moment, just them two." The informant added, "The proposal was low-key but very meaningful. Ben wanted the ring to be sentimental and put a lot of thought into it."
Another source spilled to Us Weekly that the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star told Jen and their children, 16-year-old Violet, 13-year-old Seraphina and 10-year-old Samuel, about his proposal "ahead of time." The insider noted, "His whole family knew a little before [the announcement]," adding that the newly engaged duo "waited a few days before sharing the news" publicly. "They are both happier than ever."
J.Lo confirmed her engagement to Ben in a video she released on April 8. She looked emotional in the sweet clip as she was seen staring tearfully and adoringly at the gorgeous green-hued diamond ring. "You're perfect," she said in a voiceover as romantic music played in the background.
Then on April 12, J.Lo, who was first engaged to Ben in 2002, shared more details of the surprise proposal. In a newsletter, the "Hustlers" actress revealed that she was taken "off guard" when the actor popped the question for the second time.
"Did you ever imagine your biggest dream could come true?" J.Lo began telling her fans. Revealing that it went down when she was naked in the middle of her bubble bath, she recounted, "Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed."
"I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again," J.Lo recalled, before admitting that she "was quite literally speechless." She added, "He said, 'Is that a yes?' I said YES of course that's a YES."
J.Lo continued sharing the sweet and emotional moment, "I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole." While she said, "it was nothing fancy at all," she described it as "the most romantic thing I could've ever imagined."
