AceShowbiz - Jamie Lynn Spears is apparently still keeping up with her sister Britney Spears despite their beef. The "Sweet Magnolias" actress seemingly sent a subtle reaction to the pop star's pregnancy announcement earlier this week.
Jamie Lynn appeared to show that she's happy for her sister, who is expecting her first child together with fiance Sam Asghari, with her social media activity. Internet sleuths noticed that the "Zoey 101" alum liked the "Oops!... I Did It Again" hitmaker's Instagram post regarding the exciting news.
Britney, who is already mom to sons Sean Preston and Jayden James with ex-husband Kevin Federline, announced that she and Sam are expecting a baby together on Monday, April 11, days after she subtly revealed that she has secretly tied the knot with Sam.
"I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back," she wrote in the post. "I thought, 'Geez … what happened to my stomach ???' My husband said, 'No you're food pregnant silly !!!'So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby."
"4 days later I got a little more food pregnant. It's growing !!! If 2 [babies] are in there … I might just loose it," the 40-year-old pop star continued. She then added that she "obviously won't be going out as much due to the paps getting their money shot of me."
In addition to Jamie Lynn and several celebrity pals, Britney's ex Kevin also shared his reaction to the news. Speaking on behalf of the former backup dancer, who was married to Britney from 2004 to 2007, was his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan. The lawyer told NBC News on Monday, "He wishes her the best for a happy, healthy pregnancy and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they plan for the excitement of parenthood together."
