In a new interview, the Black Widow depicter in MCU calls the wild rumors that she hooked up with the 'No Sudden Move' actor in an elevator at the Chateau Marmont in 2004 'absurd.'

AceShowbiz - Scarlett Johansson has once again cleared up wild rumors that she had sex with Benicio del Toro in an elevator. In a new podcast interview, the Black Widow depicter in Marvel Cinematic Universe dubbed the gossip "outrageous."

In the Tuesday, April 12 episode of theSkimm's "9 to 5ish" podcast, the "Avengers: Endgame" star addressed the rumors that she hooked up with the "No Sudden Move" actor at the Chateau Marmont's elevator in 2004. "That was a story that followed me for a long time," she began.

"But I always thought that was outrageous," Scarlett continued. Without naming Benicio, the 37-year-old former child star added, "I was always thinking to myself, 'That would be tough. It's a very short period, the logistics of that seem so unappealing to me.' "

Scarlett further denied the gossip, "I'm a person who's terrified of being caught doing something I'm not supposed to be doing." She concluded, "So that made the story even that much more absurd to me."

Around the time the rumors started to pop off, Scarlett told Allure, "He's a fabulous guy." The "Marriage Story" actress shared, "Apparently there was somebody with us in an elevator, and we were making out or having sex or something, which I think is very unsanitary."

After some considered it as a confirmation of the hookup, Scarlett reportedly told OK! Magazine that she was being sarcastic and that the quote "was taken out of context." Setting the record straight, she stated, "I never had sex with Benicio Del Toro in an elevator."

Then in 2005, Benicio weighed in on the matter. "Did I ever have sex in an elevator with Scarlett Johansson after an awards show?" the "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" actor acted coy during an interview with Esquire.

"I kind of like, you know, I, well. I don't know. Let's leave that to somebody's imagination. Let's not promote it," added Benicio. "I'm sure it has happened before. It might not be the last time either."

Later in the interview, Benicio joked, "The Chateau Marmont only has eight floors." The Moses Rosenthaler depicter in "The French Dispatch" continued, "I would still be struggling out of my leather jacket by the second floor and wouldn't even have my shirt off at the seventh."
