Kerrion Rashad Franklin is held without bond after being arrested in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 10 for driving a car which allegedly belongs to a missing woman believed to be dead.

AceShowbiz - Kerrion Rashad Franklin clearly had a not-so-fun weekend. The son of gospel singer Kirk Franklin has been arrested without bond in Los Angeles for his alleged connection to a murder of a missing woman.

According to court records obtained by Radar, the actor was arrested at 7:36 A.M. on Sunday, April 10. He was booked into a Los Angeles County jail at 10:28 A.M. and assigned a permanent housing location in the jail.

Entertainment blogger Larry Reid spilled details of the arrest via his Larry Reid Live Instagram page. He claimed that he talked to Kerrion from jail and the 33-year-old told him that he was wrongfully arrested after being stopped for his taillight.

"He told me that he was wrongfully arrested and he was stopped because of his taillight," Larry said in a video. "So when they did that - he said that they putting - this is what he said - that they putting other charges on him and now he can't get out until Tuesday."

Kerrion told Larry that when he was stopped, the police allegedly found a gun in the car, which he claimed didn't belong to him. There was also an altercation with the cops, leading to a resisting arrest charge, which Kerrion also denied. Kerrion reportedly has to be extradited back to Texas to deal with a separate case. There is no bond for the charges in Texas.

But when Larry tried to find a way to help get Kerrion out of jail, things got muddier. According to the blogger, his sources told him that the taillight was not the main reason why Kerrion was arrested. Instead, he was allegedly stopped for driving a car which belongs to a woman who has been reported missing and is believed to have been murdered.

"He told me that the brake light was out and that's why they stopped him [but my source said] that may not be the reason why they stopped him, [it's] because he was driving the car of the murdered victim," Larry said.

Kerrion has been charged with three felony charges. He has a court date set for this week where he will go before a judge.
