AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne believes that it's time for him to settle down with someone. Making use of his social media account, the "Ain't Got Time" rapper declared that he needs a wife because he's "too wealthy."

The 39-year-old New Orleans native, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., made his statement on his Twitter page. "I need a wife man I'm getting too wealthy," he simply stated on Friday, January 28.

It remains unclear whether Wayne is no longer dating Denise Bidot. Back in April 2021, the hip-hop star teased that he has tied the knot with the plus-size model. At that time, he gushed on Twitter, "Happiest man alive!" the emcee then added, "Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever?? Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters."

Nearly one week prior to that, Wayne put out a romantic video of Bidot. In the footage, she was seen writing their names "Denise & Dwayne" on the sand before blowing a kiss to the camera. The clip was accompanied with his unreleased song, in which he spit, "Let's spell our names in the sand and draw a heart around it."

However, the "Sucker for Pain" singer already shut down the marriage rumors. When hopping on an Instagram Live with his pal Nicki Minaj in July, he pointed out, "No. I'm so glad you asked me that. I did not get married."

Wayne and Bidot made their romance Instagram official in June 2020. In November that year, they reportedly parted ways after he publicly voiced his support for former President Donald Trump. She unfollowed the Young Money founder on Instagram back then and decided to deactivate her account.

The pair reconciled around one month later as they celebrated New Year's Eve together. Days after the celebration, however, the "How to Love" spitter and his on-and-off girlfriend sparked a breakup rumor yet again.
