The 'Candace' host rants against the popular Disney character's new outfit which is unveiled in honor of Women's History Month, claiming, 'They're trying to destroy fabrics of our society.'

AceShowbiz - Candace Owens is upset about Minnie Mouse's new outfit and she is not hiding it. After Disneyland Paris announced that it would celebrate its 30-year anniversary by trading the cartoon character's trademark red polka dot skirt for a blue pantsuit, the right-wing pundit attacked it on Fox News.

Candace ranted against Minnie Mouse's pantsuit during a conversation with Jesse Watters. "I mean look, this is why people don't take these people seriously," she said of the outfit change. "They are taking all of these things, that nobody was offended by and feel they have to get rid of them and destroy them. Because they are bored, they are absolutely bored."

The author alleged that the move to change Minnie Mouse's outfit is an attempt to distract people from real issues. "They're trying to destroy fabrics of our society saying that there's issues. This is so everybody looks over here. Look at Minnie Mouse," she told Jesse. "Don't look at inflation, Jesse, look at Minnie Mouse. The world is going forward because you've got her in a pantsuit."

The 32-year-old went on claiming, "Never mind that you can't get anything at the grocery store and you can't buy a piece of bacon unless you've got $30 in your pocket. At least we're addressing the real problem, which is Minnie Mouse."

Seemingly agreeing with Candace, Jesse simply responded, "Yep, that's right," with a smirk.

Earlier that day, Disneyland Paris announced it's teaming up with British fashion designer Stella McCartney to celebrate International Women's Day and the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. Stella designed the pantsuit, which is intended to be temporary for a month.

The statement-making ensemble is a bespoke blue tuxedo with black polka dots and matching bow, and it's made with "responsibly sourced fabrics." It will be worn in March by the person who plays Minnie Mouse at the French theme park.

"Minnie has always had a special place in my heart," Stella said in a press video shared with CNN. "We share the same values, and what I love about Minnie is that she personifies happiness, self-expression, authenticity...plus she has such great style."
