While the official cause of death will not be released until weeks, law enforcement sources say authorities believe the position in which the 'Full House' star was found indicates a sudden medical emergency.

AceShowbiz - Bob Saget might have suffered a heart attack or stroke that led to his sudden passing. While the official cause of death has not been released yet, authorities allegedly suspect that the comedian may have suffered a medical emergency because they found no evidence of foul play or drug use and have not yet carried out a toxicology report.

Additionally, sources tell TMZ the position Bob was found could be consistent with signs of a heart attack. The 65-year-old was found lying face-up on his bed with "his left arm was across his chest while his right arm was resting on the bed."

The sources add that authorities are exploring Bob's revelation days before his death that he had recently battled COVID-19. As to how his recent COVID battle could be related to his passing, it's noted that one can develop blood clots as a possible complication from the virus.

During his appearance on "A Corporate Time with Tom & Dan", Bob revealed he had recently battled COVID. He did not mention the exact time he caught the virus, but said he got the Omicron variant which was only discovered at the end of November. He described COVID as "not good" but later joked about dying from the virus in an apparent bid to drum up interest in his 2022 stand-up tour.

Bob was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando on Sunday, January 10. On Monday, an autopsy on his body was completed. "An autopsy was performed this morning on Robert Lane Saget. Mr. Saget is a 65-year-old male, who was found unresponsive in his hotel room," Orange and Osceola Counties chief medical examiner Joshua Stephany said in a statement.

At this time, the cause of death remains unclear, "pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete." Joshua noted though, "At this time, there is no evidence of drug use or foul play."
