Bob Saget Dies Suddenly in Hotel Room at Age 65

The Orange County Sheriff's Office confirms the 'Full House' star was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando on Sunday afternoon, January 10.

AceShowbiz - Bob Saget has passed away. The beloved "Full House" star died suddenly in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando on Sunday, January 10 in the middle of comedy tour. The authority has confirmed his passing. He was 65 years old.

According to TMZ, the Sheriff's Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 P.M. ET after hotel security had found Bob in his room. When deputies arrived, they found the former "America's Funniest Home Videos" host unresponsive. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Circumstances of his death are still unclear, but detectives believe no foul play was involved.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office shared the breaking news on its official Twitter page. "Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene," they said. "Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case."

Bob, best known for his role as Danny Tanner on "Full House", had been touring the country since September 2021. He was hitting a lot of destinations throughout the state of Florida and was scheduled to be on the road until June.

On Saturday night, one day before he was found dead, he just had a show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville. On his last Instagram post on Sunday morning, he seemed to be in good spirits as he shouted out the crowd at the show.

"Loved tonight's show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight," he wrote. "I'm happily addicted again to this s**t. Check http://BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022."

His representative has not released a statement on his passing. Meanwhile, rapper Lil Duval was quick to react to the sad news. "Damn Bob Saget died we did a show and got high together last 4/20 cool as hell," he tweeted.
