The split speculation arose after both the model and the NFL player removed photos of each other from their accounts on the photo-sharing platform. They even deleted family photos that featured their children and their spouses.
Chanel also did not include Sterling in her Christmas post. Wishing her followers "Merry Christmas from me and my girls" on December 25, the 31-year-old beauty posted two photos, one of which featured her two daughters sitting on her lap underneath a Christmas tree without her husband. The second photo showed the two girls posing near the Christmas tree while wearing matching red dresses.
Moreover, Chanel and Sterling have not been wearing their wedding rings in any new photos on Instagram.
Their moves to remove each other's photos are actually not a new one as some media outlets noticed these actions back in October 2021. "They been separated for months," one person claimed after the new report surfaced. Another backed the claim, "she's not lying tho. I knew they were separated as well." A third chimed in, "You're definitely not wrong there has BEEN reports of a separation between them. BEEN‼️"
Neither Chanel nor Sterling has commented on their relationship status as it's also noted that there has been no divorce announcement from the two. The pair, who got engaged in December 2017, tied the knot in March 2018 at the Beverly Hills hotel.
Their first child Cali was born on August 10, 2018. They then welcomed their second child, also a daughter named Cassie, on December 17, 2019.
Channel was previously in a relationship with rapper A$AP Rocky from 2013 until they separated in June 2014. She was also briefly dating Lakers basketball player Jordan Clarkson in 2015.
