AceShowbiz - Chris Noth sexual assault scandal continued to snowball as a fifth woman came forward with similar stories and planned a lawsuit. Singer-songwriter, Lisa Gentile, claimed the "Sex and the City" actor groped her against her will during their encounter in 2002.
She said it took her a long time to come forward because she was threatened. "I was afraid to come forward because of Mr. Noth's power and his threats to ruin my career," she explained before referring to other alleged victims, "I believe we should have our day in court to hold Mr. Noth accountable for what he did."
Gentile and Noth allegedly became friends after they met in a New York City restaurant in 1998. He was a regular and she was a friend of the owner's.
According to her, the assault happened one night when he offered to give her a ride and asked to come up. The actor apparently took her saying yes as an invitation for sex.
"He started kissing me almost right away. Then he leaned against the kitchen countertop and forcibly pulled me against him; he was slobbering all over me," she recalled in a press conference. "I quickly became uncomfortable."
Gentile, who hired top lawyer Gloria Allred, claimed the actor became "more aggressive" when she tried to stop him.
"I kept pushing his hands down while he was pushing mine up. I was trying to get him to stop. He then forced my hands to pull up his shirt exposing his belly and then even harder pushed my hands down towards his penis. I finally managed to push him away and get out of his grasp and yelled, 'No, I don't want this.' "
She recalled, "He became extremely angry and started screaming calling me a 'tease' and a 'bitch,' " before storming out of her apartment.
The following morning, the actor allegedly threatened to ruin her career if she'd "ever told a soul about what happened the night before."
Chris Noth hasn't responded to the latest accusations but, when the sexual assault claims were first made public, he called them "categorically false."
